Assignment Description
- Design and formalize a unified TRATON-wide Change & Release Management process, building on Scania’s SSCR and adapting it to support multiple brands and future architectures.
- Drive alignment across architecture, systems, testing, project management, and governance teams to ensure smooth adoption.
- Ensure process integration with OAS, OnePDP, and the embedded systems development landscape.
- Support the transition to future modular platforms by aligning change and release mechanisms with system integration needs.
- Define the role and handling of Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) in system maturity and change tracking.
- Implement traceability and transparency using Jira, including configuration of workflows, visualizations, and add-ons.
- Document and communicate the process in a clear, scalable, and accessible format for both engineers and decision-makers.
- Embed process steps into established routines such as PI Planning, integration test weeks, SOCOP/SOP milestones, and program cadences.
- Provide training, coaching, and onboarding support for teams to drive adoption and sustainability.
- Support legacy topics where needed, while also preparing the ground for future modular architectures. Provide educational material.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading Change & Release Management in Embedded Software & Systems, preferably within the automotive or heavy-vehicle industry.
- Strong knowledge of the SSCR process or equivalent software/hardware change control frameworks.
- Experience with OAS, OnePDP, and Scania/Traton’s product development processes, particularly in the embedded domain.
- Solid understanding of SESAMM and TEESA architectures and how system and software requirements evolve within them.
- Demonstrated ability to work with and configure Jira to support process design (workflows, traceability, add-ons, integration).
- Experience with integration planning, including test week cadence, PI planning, and managing dependencies between SW/HW.
