Assignment Description
  • User-Centric Framework Development: Understand and address the needs of end-users regarding data quality and data observability frameworks.
  • Ground-Up Framework Development: Take the lead in developing data quality and observability frameworks from the ground up.
  • Collaborative Tool Development: Actively participate in creating collaborative tools that enhance communication and coordination among team members and stakeholders.
  • Policy and Compliance Management: Develop and enforce data policies, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and stay informed about evolving data governance standards.
  • Training and Knowledge Sharing: Conduct training sessions for team members and end-users on the proper use of data tools, governance processes, and best practices.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks to data integrity and security, implement measures to mitigate these risks, and develop contingency plans.
  • Vendor and Tool Evaluation: Assess and recommend third-party tools and vendors aligning with the data platform’s goals and enhancing its capabilities.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data governance processes, data contracts, and the overall architecture to ensure transparency and knowledge transfer.
  • User Feedback Integration: Actively collect and incorporate user feedback throughout the development and enhancement processes, ensuring the evolution of the data platform aligns with user needs.

Technical Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Information Technology, or Data Management).
  • In-depth knowledge of Snowflake data warehousing and SQL.
  • Familiarity with data governance tools and frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of data security, privacy, and compliance regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to data quality.
  • Relevant certifications in data governance or Snowflake administration may be advantageous.
  • Experience with other data governance tools and technologies.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms, such as AWS and Azure.
