We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engine Test Developer to join their dynamic team. **Key Responsibilities:**
As a Senior Engine Test Developer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our engines. Your responsibilities will include:
1. **Python Proficiency:** Utilize Python scripting to develop automated test frameworks and tools, streamlining the testing process for engine components.
2. **Polarion and Vision Expertise:** Harness your knowledge of Polarion and Vision tools to manage test documentation, track progress, and ensure traceability of test cases.
3. **CANalyzer Mastery:** Expertise in CANalyzer to analyze and troubleshoot Controller Area Network (CAN) communication, ensuring seamless integration of engine components.
4. **FMEA Implementation:** Lead the development and execution of Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) for engine software testing, identifying potential risks and mitigating strategies.
5. **HIL Experience:** Leverage your Hardware-in-Loop (HIL) expertise to create and validate test setups, enabling realistic simulation and validation of engine control systems.
6. **Effective Communication:** Collaborate closely with mechanics and drivers to understand real-world testing requirements and translate them into comprehensive test plans.
**Qualifications:**
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
Must have:
– Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in Python .
Good To have:
– Proven track record of engine testing and software validation.
– Familiarity with Polarion and Vision for test documentation management.
– Strong knowledge of CANalyzer for CAN communication analysis.
– Experience with Hardware-in-Loop (HIL) testing methodologies.
– Excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between engineering and testing teams.
– Proficient Swedish language skill.
– FuSa and/or Cybersecurity experience
