Responsibilities
- Lead the battery and ESS onboard diagnostic concept development, including fault signals, reactivity and DTCs.
- Contribute with the diagnostic functions system design, such as Isolation Resistance Monitoring, Thermal Runaway Detection, HVIL, etc.
- Contribute with the design of the BMS platform with flexible and modular architecture considering stakeholder (which includes, but it is not limited to, production and aftermarket) requirements, high-level targets, legal requirements, and standards.
- Write, negotiate and document requirements ensuring traceability and their proper verification.
Requirements
- Master or Bachelor of science in control systems, mechatronics, electronics, electrical engineering, or engineering physics.
- Experience with BMS development and knowledge about hardware and software components.
- Experience with onboard diagnostic solutions.
- Experience in working with external suppliers.
- Experience from in-vehicle communication (CAN, Ethernet, diagnostic protocols, etc.)
- Familiar with CANalyzer, reading and collecting CAN logs.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
